4-02 Box, 20:42 - Fightin 4 Units responded to Bay Forest Road in Lexington Park for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. Command 4 (Safety Francis Raley) arrived on location at 20:49 and established command. He reported to dispatch that he had 4 subjects with injuries and one victim had a head injury. Lt. David Morris (Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad) arrived on location and started triage. He requested a helicopter Category A, Priority 1. Squad 4 (Asst. Chief Eddie Raley) and Engine 141 (Capt. Rich Wilson) assisted with patient care and vehicle stabilization. Due to weather conditions, all medevac helicopters were not flying. One patient was transported, high priority to SMH and 3 others refused treatment on the scene. Squad 4 remained on the scene to assist Maryland State Police with accident reconstruction.
