4-01 Box, 02:49 - Squad 4 was dispatched to the area of 17005 Point Lookout Road in St. Mary's City for the reported motor vehicle accident with a vehicle into the water. Command 4 (Chief 4) and Engine 141 arrived on location at 02:59 and located a vehicle in a swampy area adjacent to the roadway. St. Mary's College Public Safety Officers confirmed one vehicle with one patient that was trapped in the vehicle. Crews from Engine 141 and Squad 4 quickly extricated the victim and packaged them for transport. The patient was carried through the muddy conditions to Ambulance 399 and transported to St. Mary's Hospital. Units cleared at 03:30.
