| On Saturday, August 8, members of Ridge VFD took Engine 41 to North Beach, to take part in North Beach VFD's (NBVFD) Centennial Parade and Muster, held as part of NBVFD's 100th Anniversary festivities. Departments from Calvert, Anne Arundel, Charles, St. Mary’s, and Prince George's Counties joined the parade, with a mix of modern (in use) and antique fire and EMS apparatus.
A dedicated group of Ridge VFD members spent many hours preparing Engine 41 for the event. Their efforts were rewarded with a Best Overall (Modern) Engine Company award! Despite the hot weather, the streets of North Beach were filled with spectators cheering and waving.
