4-08 Box, 01:15 AM - Ridge VFD was dispatched to the 49000 block of Cypress Road in Scotland, MD for the reported garage fire. Chief 4 arrived on location and reported that a detached garage was fully involved. Engine 41 arrived and intitiated a defensive fire attack until the fire was quickly knocked to enter the garage. Tanker 4 and Engine 141 set up water supply operations. Tanker 44 , Squad 4 and mutual aid companies assisted with extinguishing hot spots and performing overhaul. The fire was quickly placed under control. There wasn't any damage to nearby structures. The total lose of the garage is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshall's Office.

(Update) - Units were re-dispatched at 11:15 today, back to the scene to extinguish a pile of tires that re-ignited. Units operated for approximately 45 minutes and went in service.
